Dharamshala hill station is wooded with oak and conifer trees and snow capped mountains enfold three sides of the town while the valley stretches in front. In Dharamshala you can experience the authentic Tibetian culture. In Dharamsala one should visit  Kangra Art museum at Kotwali bazar,  mcLeodgunj Cricket stadium, tea gardens, Kunal Pathri temple, historical Tibetan Monastery, ancient St. John’s church, Trichund Peak and a lot.

triund trek dharamshalaTriund Hill is a beautiful trekking location providing breathtaking views of Dhauladhar range. The trek starts from the main crossroad of McLeodganj. Beautiful views go along with you can watch waterfalls, flora & fauna, rare birds & herbal plants species. The beauty, the effort, the people, the noise of the stream and crossing muddy paths will thrilled you altogether. The Cricket stadium in Dharamshala is nothing but a pristine landscape for nature lovers therefore, the view of the snow capped mountains from the stadium are awesome. It’s a small stadium in the Kangra valley overlooked by the majestic himalyan ranges. Bhagsu waterfall surrounded by hills with cool bree..e..eeze is a good place to hang out. It is a beautiful waterfall, located about a 20-25 minute walk from the Bhagsu temple. Now a days the place has been over crowded but, you can enjoy a short picnic time here.

Norbulingka_Palace1

Norbulingka is dedicated to handing down tradition and restoring standards by providing training, education and employment for Tibetans. The institute produces high quality, traditionally crafted art objects, as well as clothing and home furnishings. All these are displayed in gift shop for sale. But the price of tibetian articles may disappoint you as they are very high.Another gem is Tibetian world (Hostel) who do volunteering work for exiled Tibetans in India. It is not only a hostel but also NGO who provides language course to Tibetans. Besides, they hold up the folk show on every Thursday, you cant refrain from appreciating it. Tibetian Market is good one where food is decent and cheap. Shopping birds can shop in the local bazaar for amazing Tibetan handicrafts while roaming around in the evening.

Now, it’s time to talk about  Naddi, a beautiful village and tourist around 11 km. from Dharamshala. A high point beyond the Dal Lake, Naddi village affords a magnificent view of Dhauladhar mountain range to the north and the vast expanse of lush Kangra valley to the south. Wow! What a place it is. Its scenic beauty will mesmerized for a sure. Here weather keeps changing rainy-foggy-misty-cold-wet-warm which maks naddi truly a ‘Heaven for photographers’ and a great escape for people especially from cities hustle-bustle. you can’t escape from the charm of Sunset point, View Point & Eco Point. Dal lake is another spot in Naddi, easily approachable by road is an enchanting and serene picnic spot. What more I said ‘Naddi a perfact place to unwind’…
