The Overall trip was very nice and had a wonderful time in Sikkim and Darjeeling. Like any plusses there are few areas of improvement

Hidden Forest Resort (Gang tok) was amazing and I would really recommend this for your future guests. The location, view and Overall ambience was very nice and peaceful. The food was however blend may be due to many foreigners stay there. I underst and that I did the last minute change related to Lachung but anyway there was a l andslide in Yumthang valley and such changes should be allowed (Plan B should already be discussed with the Cab person).

There was a less flexibility from the driver side in the entire Sikkim Trip, You say that you have to go 10 Km ahead and he says it will cost Rs1000. The driver / travels should show flexibility as there were many spots which we said we do not want to go and that had anyway saves diesel for the driver. (e.g. Yuksam which was just 11 km away from Kanchenjunga falls). The tourist may not know all the places before visiting and that’s why he takes the guidance from Travel partner. Travel from Gang tok -> Pelling could have been planned from Gang tok-> Namchi-> Rabong->Pelling. This could be done on a single day if a person starts from Gang tok in the morning.

Rabong (Ravangalla) has an open Buddha temple (with amazing carvings inside the Monastery) and it is one of the most beautiful place to visit. Once should not miss this I believe.Namchi also has a decent char dham temple etc ..which could have been covered on the way.In Pelling The location of Cherry Village resort of decent but a person can’t see Kanchenjunga from there as there are lots of bamboo trees at the hotel which s tops the view. It’s not practical to go to pelling (8 km uphill) in the morning to go to pelling to see Kanchenjunga @7:00. The overall hotel was very nice and Hospitality was amazing.

Darjeeling: I have stayed in a homestay for the first time and it was a good experience but it reduces privacy. It may not work from family who are looking for privacy. Overall the Uncle and Aunty were very nice and Food which they prepared was amazing.Darjeeling driver was amazing and I shared his number with you. You can consider giving him business. He is a nice and calm person.In all the hotels were amazing and had a good stay, however there is a chance for improvement in the local cab agency in gang tok (except Darjeeling one which was nice).

Thanks for sharing the OYO number that day, you were a saver for me. I also had a discussion with Mr. Amit and it was nice, however it was not his direct area so he was able to guide partly but nonetheless he was very friendly and open to help. I couldn’t meet him but spoke to him over the phone in detail.

Overall with you the experience has been very nice and will surely get back to you when I plan my next travel.
