6N/7D Andaman Nicobar

The Andaman & Nicobar Islands are unique & are shrouded in the mystery for centuries because of their inaccessability.A paragon of beauty, these islands present a landscape of scenic and picturesque extravaganza, shimmering like emeralds in the Bay of Bengal.The Union Territory of A&N Islands Stretches over a length of more than 700 kms from North to south floating in the clear blue waters of Bay of Bengal, East of the Indian main land and consists of 572 emerald Islands (36 of which are inhabited), islets and rocks.

Day 1 : Arrival in Andaman  & local sightseeing

Our representative will receive you at Veer Saverkar Airport, Port Blair and will escort to the hotel, he will also assist you to do hotel check-in formalities.After check-in and little relax you  will be taken to the following places-

Samudrika Museum,The museum has seven sections presenting Geographical information, Marine life, Archaeology and people of Andaman. It has a good collection of shells, corals and a few colorful fishes.Anthropological Museum,It illustrates the Jarawas, Sentinels, Great Andamanese, the Onges and two Mongoloid tribes of the Nicobar Viz; the Nicobariese and the Shompens. Fisheries Museum, It has 350 different species of marine life. The different kinds of marine life on display have been collected from the Bay of Bengal and the Indo-Pacific Ocean. It is situated adjacent to the Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports Complex, Port Blair.

Cellular Jail: This historic building was built in the 19th century to look like a wheel with seven spokes. It is called ‘Cellular’ because it is ‘Cells beyond Cells’.You can attend the Sound & Light Show where the heroic saga of the Indian Freedom Struggle is brought alive by the means of light and sound at the jail premises, presented in English and Hindi, which takes you back to the British Era.

Day 2 : Drive to North Bay & Ross Island 

After Breakfast you will be escorted to Andaman Water Sports Complex to catch a ferry which will be your mate for the entire excursion to Ross Island and North Bay.North Bay is also called ‘The Gate Way to Port Blair’. This place is famous for its coral reefs, exotic verities’ of beautiful ornamental fishes and water sports activities.Apart from snorkeling and glass-bottom boat ride, scuba diving, underwater sea walk facility is also available at North Bay.

Ross Island was the Capital of Port Blair during British and Japanese regime, prior to India Independence.It was nick named ‘The Paris of the East’.This island is an ideal destination for nature walk amidst sylvan surroundings with deera, peacocks and exotic birds. A leisurely cruise (Harbour Cruise) towards Viper Island, in a steamer crosses the seven main ports of these islands, including the floating dry dock of naval command.

Day 3 : Drive to Havelock   

In the morning you will be escorted to Phoenix Bay Harbor to board MV. Makruzz (1.5 Hrs) or Govt. Ferry (2.5 Hrs) which will take you to Havelock Island.The island is named after a British Army Officer. The island offers state-of-the-art facilities for snorkeling and scuba diving. Havelock is famous for its white sand and crystal clear water.At the Harbour our representative will receive you and will help you to find a restaurant for breakfast (if you didn’t have it already) and then he will escort you to Radhanagar Beach which is among Asia’s most beautiful beach. 

Day 4 : Leisure at Havelock 

This entire day is free for optional activities** You can enjoy a ride to ELEPHANT BEACH which  is located at a distance of around 10kms from the market or 30 mins boat ride from the jetty. It is known for its beautiful corals and exotic life.

Day 5 : Day Trip to Neil Island 

Check out from the hotel, move towards the Harbor to board a ferry which will take you to Neil Island.

Neil Island: It is known as ‘Vegetable Bowl’ for its quality and quantity of agriculture produce. There is a lone jetty at Bharathpur, which serves as the only entry exit point of the island. It is an ideal location for eco-tourism and a marvelous island with plenty of marine life. The famous beaches there are Bharathpur Beach, Laxmanpur Beach and Sitapur Beach(famous for its red sand). They are the best beaches unspoiled and raw. The other attraction is a Natural Bridge Formation also known as ‘Howrah Bridge’.

In the evening we will start our return journey to Port Blair enjoying the sea breeze and the sight of the changing colors of the sky of the setting sun and most of the time accompanied by dolphins and flying fishes swimming along the boat.

Dy 6 : Drive to Baratang Island

Early morning before daybreak we depart for Baratang Islands.We will travel through fabulous and enchanting forest in conveys to reach Nilambur Jetty (Middle Strait) from where we take a ferry for Baratang Island which is a 15 mints ride. It has thick mangrove creeks on both sides followed by dense tropical forest. Major attractions at Baratang are lime Stone Cave and Mud Volcanoes.

Day 7 : Tranfer to Airport 

Drop to Airport for Return journey with a wonderful holiday memories.
