Renowned as the land of monks and monasteries there is lots to see in this amazing piece of land. Leh is a backpacker’s haven with numerous trekking trails, valleys, and picturesque lakes. Leh is the Capital and the largest town in Ladakh. Ladakh has become a favorite haunt for trekking and mountaineering enthusiasts. The rugged terrain and the majestic mountains around, make an exotic cocktail for an adventure sport lover.
Day 1 : Arrival at Leh
Transfer from Airport to hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 2 : Leh – Alchi – Phayang – Likir – Bagso
After breakfast we drive to Phyang, 17 km from Leh. Phyang belongs to Dri-pung kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism. And we drive further to Likir, Likir gompa situated atop a windy cliff top overlooking the beautiful village of Likir, This Monastery is headed by the younger brother of Dalai Lama. Basgo is certainly the most impressive of Ladakhi citadels despite its ruined state. Amidst the ruines of the fort there are two large temples and adjoining one of there is a small shrine. Then we drive and cross the River Indus and reach Alchi, Ladakh’s most loved monastery. Over a century old, its wall paintings are very similar to those of the Tabo gompa in Spiti, Himachal Pradesh.After visiting the Alchi Monastery we check in at our Camp / Guest House for Overnight stay.

Day 3 : Leh to Tso – Moriri, 220 Km.
After Breakfast drive to Tso-Moriri .You can cover Thicksey, Hemis and Shey monasteries while going through this route, Tso Moriri lake in Changthang region of Ladakh is one of the most beautiful, calm and sacred (for ladakhis) high altitude lakes in India. Picturesquely located in secluded, breathtakingly beautiful Rupshu Valley, Tso Moriri Lake is about 220 Kms. southeast of Leh. April, May, June, July and August is the peak tourist season here. Overnight stay.
( Indian Tourists does not need Inner Line Permits for Tso Moriri ).

Day 4 : Tso – Moriri to Leh
Tso Moriri lake in Changthang region of Ladakh is one of the most beautiful, calm and sacred (for ladakhis) high altitude lakes in India. In fact, it is the largest high altitude lake in India that is entirely in Indian Territory. The lake is fed by springs and snow-melt from neighboring mountains. Tso Moriri attracts a range of wildlife, including migratory birds, marmots and rarely the Tibetan wolves.After Breakfast drive back to Leh.
Tso Moriri – Tso Kar – Debring – Taglang La – Rumste – Upshi – Karu – Leh. you will Cover Tso Kar Lake and Taglang La (some part of Manali – Leh Highway). Overnight at Leh.

Day 5 : Leh to Pangong
After Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft), through Changla Pass 17,350 ft.,it is the third highest motorable road in the world. 1200 hrs. arrive Pangong, it is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the Banks of pangong while appreciating the changing Colors and fascinating high altitude of the Lake. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 6 : Pangong To Leh
Pangong to Leh route provides the best road conditions among all other routes. So, if you are one of those who prefer relaxing vacation and do not want to rush through places then, we will suggest make a two day trip to Pangong Tso lake via this route from Leh. After Breakfast one may stroll around the lake and then drive back to Leh. stay overnight in Leh.

Day 7 : Transfer to Leh Airport
With exchanges of warm wishes and memories the Tour concludes here.
